Wrong Eibach Springs
So about a year ago wife decided to get me some springs for the z28 as a gift. She sent me the link, they looked new but off of OfferUp so I just verified they were for camaro dude said yup even mentioned years. So I went got them, and unfortunately car went into storage for about 7 or 8 months. Now I finally pulled it out, rear springs went in like cake, and fronts were completely different. Upon looking up the model numbers...it’s for fourth gen! Now my question is, is it ok to leave the rears? And does anyone have a front set they’re looking to sell! Now my driver side control arm is sitting on the floor springless and it’s gonna sit on jack stands and set me back on time and money. My own fault should of looked up part numbers but we live and we learn.

Ended up ordering these. Price is a bit low and hopefully I don’t get what I pay for! Or I do? Haha. It is just temporary anyways. Car has been in storage too long want to get it going and enjoy it now during winter time here in Florida! T-topless!

Spend the $$ for UMI. Great springs. Sporty ride, but not harsh. Lower about 1"

I have installed Eibach Pro kit on two cars and I love them. Takes the car down about an inch. Had them on 84 Z28 and now on 91 Trans Am.

Re: Wrong Eibach Springs
I spoke with eibach, although the rears did fit fine hey said the fourth gen springs actually have less of a spring rate so even though the drop may look similar it’s gonna be a lot softer ride which could lead to a lot of bottoming out. So I couldn’t even get away with just ordering a set of front springs. Gonna hopefully sell this set for fourth gens and recover the money for those cheap set I got on amazon, and in about two months I’ll do the job and throw some nice shocks in as well it just has newer regular ones. Thanks for the advice guys. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else! But if they search for it my post will be here at least. Just sucks to go through all that trouble and now I have the car on jack stands, but thankfully it’s in my yard locked away!

Having shopped at swap meets back when people actually wanted to sell stuff, I learned real quick that when asking fitment questions -
Always ask: "What does it fit?"
Never ask: "Does that fit a....?"

To add to what paulo said, "Does this fit a..." doesn't not mean "Is this for a..."
