Power Rack & Pinion Third Gen

I searched the Forum on this topic all the way back to 2014.

Has anyone solved the steering travel and bump-steer issues?
Any luck on finding a Power R&P rack suitable for the Third Gen?

I'm working on my Third Gen Autocross/Road Racing set up and would like to know.

Thanks in advance and be safe!

As far as I know, no one has used a rack and pinion with much success on a stock 3rd gen. suspension. The spindles on the 3rd gen’s are unique to these cars because of the single control arm/strut arrangement with the steering arm cast as an assembly. The length of the steering arm is the issue, which throws the geometry off, particularly the Ackerman. The 4th gen. Camaro and the Corvettes have R&P, but the steering arms on both cars are very short and the steering rack is engineered for the proper angles. Bump steer can be mitigated through adjustable end links, but I would not recommend trying to shorten the steering arm length on cast iron spindles. This of course is just my opinion and observations.
