Bolt in torque arm relocation with 4l80e

I'm starting my first swap with my 87 camaro. 5.3 with 4l80e I am getting the pa racing mount for trans and was wondering if there was a torque arm relocation that bolts in with this setup. I've seen a few people that weeded the mount in and I know if I went with the Hooker motor mounts I could use the hooker trans mount with torque arm. Any help would be greatly appreciated since this is my first swap.

Nope, you are on your own. Best bet is to weld a mount onto the crossmember

Check this out from Holley. You can use their LS swap crossmember designed for the T56 and use one of their adapters to make it work. It will relocate the torque arm mount to the crossmember.

I tried that and couldn't make it work. You can pay the 400 bucks and order it and see if you can mock it up but don't mess it up so you can return it if you need to.

I wasted money on it.

I suppose I should have mentioned that it's designed to work with their engine mounts.

Re: Bolt in torque arm relocation with 4l80e

I was talking to a friend about it and I think im going to try the hooker trans mount with the torque arm mount on it. If i have any problems ill cut a slotted motor mount so I can have some room to shift the motor front or back.

Be sure to look at the adapter bits that work along with the crossmember.
