How to choose shocks
How to choose shocks
Hi there, if anyone can give some input I am trying to determine what to do with shocks. My 1999 Camaro SS convertible has been lowered at some point but I am not sure what brand the springs are or how much it was lowered. Job was done by someone else. They left the original shocks on and it seems to be bottoming out more than it should.
Any input on how to determine what shocks to buy that would work better with these lowering springs?
Appreciate the help!

Re: How to choose shocks
Koni is the best, but if it's bottoming out, it's either too low, or the springs are too weak...

Re: How to choose shocks
Most shocks are not adjustable. Some high performance brands are, such as Koni and QA1, which you can adjust yourself by turning the adjustment *****. No need to go to a shop for that...
