Removing the Power Steering Gear Assembly Unit 1984 Trans AM

By looking at the location of this unit, it appears that I will have to remove the the stabilizer bar.
Would that be correct?
any of u fellows done this?
I had done this on my (sold) 1972 BUick GS twice, & it was fairly easy the unit itself was very heavy.

It's pretty easy. I don't remember removing the sway-bar, and don't see why it would be necessary...
