1LE front brake problem
1LE front brake problem
I bought the AutoZone calipers (C364 and C365), the right side brake caliper cradle (GM p/n 10132830) and the front brake pads (GM p/n 12518935). The cradle fits on the caliper and the pads fit in the caliper. BTW, the pads came with pins, washers and circlips.
The problem: only one of those pins (out of four) will actually fit. (The pins appear to be the same as GM p/n 10140666 and, there are two different kinds of pins). The other three pins are too large. Any ideas? Thanks!
I thought I'd better edit this question because of AndyZ28's post about 1LE brakes. I looked at all of the material that is in Andy's post and I did not find an answer anywhere. If I missed the answer, please accept my apologies.
I'm editing this (again) because I (again) reviewed the instructions that came with the brake pads (which are PBR by the way). There is a diagram on the instructions that seems to imply there is only one pin for each caliper (I got four pins with the brake pads). Does this sound right? Thanks!
Okay, I promise this is the last edit. Please ignore the question (I tried to delete it, but I can't.) AndyZ28 answered the question on a different post.
