Koni yellow fronts no dust cover or bump stop

About to install Koni yellow part number 8741 1030SPORT. Just unboxed one and all that came inside the box was the shock, washer, nut and A plastic washer that fits around the shaft. Is a dust cover and shaft bump stop not necessary? Is that plastic shaft washer used for coil overs? I’m wondering if I can discard it.

It's not required, but I put a set of rubber strut covers from Rancho over the upper shaft just to help keep it clean and debris free.

thank you! I think I’d prefer having some on there myself but it’s good to know I can put them on. Is there a specific dust cover from rancho? I’ll do a search here in a min. How about that white spacer? Thanks again

I'd have to look it up, but there was a thread from many, many moons ago that added the Racho cover that I think might have the p/n. I'd have to look for it. As far as the white piece, I don't recall if I had to use it or not.

I think that I switched to rubber covers because the original covers weren't compatible with the Spohn strut towers that I am using on my GTA.
