Sway bar mount

Has anyone had issues with the passenger side front sway bar mount bracket not lining up with the holes for the bolts? I Upgraded to the polyurethane mounts for my 36mm front sway bar and the holes do not line up

Re: Sway bar mount

if you're using aftermarket mounts then they will not line up. the factory mounts had offset holes but the aftermarket ones are straight across. UMI makes adapter plates so you can install them

here's a picture. you don't have to use the fancy billet mounts. this just shows the straight across mount.

Re: Sway bar mount

Good advice above.
When I installed new poly bushings, I used my factory mounting brackets...

I just did the same thing, replaced only the bushings and had no issues.

Re: Sway bar mount

Top Down Solutions sells poly bushings that will work in your stock mounts.

Worked well for me.
