Shock/Strut Question - with Spring Replacement
I am in need of new Struts on my Camaro and have a few questions:
1. I am looking on going with Koni yellows shocks/struts. Any experience with these. I'm looking for the best handling as this is a pleasure only car, no need for Caddy ride. I don't want something too stiff for the road as I live in Connecticut and roads are often a bit bumpy. Can these adapt to the bumps?
2. I want to replace my springs but may have to wait for a month or two after the struts (moving into new house, tight monthly spending budget). Will this cause any problems with the struts/shocks (premature wear?).
3. What kind of springs would be best? I'm leaning toward Eibach pro kit (1.5" drop). How do these effect handling and appearace. I was also considering a 2" drop but have read that this might be a bit much, any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help? Any suggestions are appreciated.
