Stock rear sway bar w/Ford 9"
Stock rear sway bar w/Ford 9"
Hopefully somebody out there has some advice for me on a rear sway bar question,
I have a 1988 Iroc 350, w/ TPIS miniram & TPSI ZZ9 cam, Jet Hot ceramic coated Edelbrock headers, ported AFR190 heads, Accel 300+ ignition, 52mm throttle body, TPSI Magnum V prom, 1996 T56 six speed, Currie built Ford 9" rear end with 4:11 gears, I'll stop there.....
Anyway my question concerns the stock rear sway bar.
Is there any way to install the stock rear sway bar with the Ford 9"?
I have not been able to find any info on this.

I ran into the same problem as you. I haven't got it yet but Steve Spohn has a kit to install the swaybar on a 9" rearend. You still have to buy the bushings though for the swaybar as they are not included with the kit.

Yup, it can be done. Get the kit from Steve Spohn and then a set of energy suspension bushings (others may work, not sure). You'll have to drill the hole bigger in the C-shell but it will work.
