What kind of 60' times are you getting with after market suspension???
What kind of 60' times are you getting with after market suspension???
Mods are in sig. My best 60' time is a 1.892 with a 3.27 posi, stock suspension, and Mickey Thompson ET Street slicks that were not hot enough. Now I have a Spohn adjustable torque arm, Spohn lower control arms and relocation brackets, Spohn sub frame connectors, a 3.42 posi, and a line lock so I can heat up them slicks. What do you guys think I'll be able to pull? It's with a 700R4 trans too. What are you're guys' best 60' times? Please list mods. Thanks.

Last couple of years I had Spohn torque arm, Herb Adams panhard and LCA arms, home made relocation brackets, air bags inside the springs, rear sway bar, SFCs, factory shocks.
It's all going to depend on how much power the engine can put to the ground. When I was running a SBC and 3.27 gears I was running low 1.7 60 foot times.
Last year with the big block and 4.10 gears my 60 foot times averaged in the high 1.5's
This year I have a transbrake, 4.56 gears and ladderbars so the "aftermarket suspension" stuff is all changed. I'm hoping for 1.4's this year.
You're going to need a lot more engine torque and converter to get below 1.7's

Lots of LS1 guys are in the 1.6's w/ 325-350rwhp, I don't know why you shouldn't be. If not, it's converter selection and gear selection. A few of them are in the 1.8's w/ nothing but Nitto's.

IMO, I really don't think you'll get much more than low 1.8's out of your combo. Looking at your mph, your probably only pushing about 260-270hp which this also tells about what 60'ft the car is capable of. Suspension isn't necessarily needed all the time. It's mainly tire and track prep. Stock suspension cars can easily pull 1.6-1.7 60ft. I've been a 1.75 with mine and the only thing I have is urethane bushings in the rear LCA and urethane torque arm mount. I do have an aftermarket PHR but this really doesn't do anything for straight line traction. I also run no front swaybar which helps with weight transfer. All my runs are on nitto 275/40's. BTW, I run a 5speed w/ 3.73 gears.
