The fronts are not as easy as the backs (you can do the backs in 10 minutes or less). Just do AutoZone's loan-a-tool (pay for it, use it, then bring it back to get your money back) deal to pick up the spring compressor tools. Be careful!

Question guys - since you've all toyed w/replacing springs - my camaro supposedly has Eibach lowering springs in it (well - it DOES have them) but the front ones were in up-side down (installed by 'professionals' supposedly. I've got the springs out and i noticed i don't have the spacer that sits in the sub-frame above the spring. How thick is the spacer supposed to be? B/c I'm deathly afraid that when i correct the springs (right-side-up) they're going 2 lower the car even more (they don't sit right upside down) and the tires were already rubbing. How much should i space those springs in the front? Sorry 4 all the questions.

If the spacer you're talking about is the rubber spring isolator that has a notch for the end of the spring coil sits atop the spring, then just go to the local junkyard and grab some if you can find them. Or buy some at your local GM parts place. They're about 1" maybe 1.5" thick...
