??? about installing ES front control arm bushings??????????
I have new Energy Suspension front control arm Bushings. The directions they come with are all messed up and cant read them.
They come assembled with the bushing and sleave already in the shell. Do I need to push the sleave and bushing back out of the shell to put the grease on them?
I know i have to have them pressed in at a shop. I just want to have back up instructions since the ones Es gave me are unreadable and I dont want some idiot at a shop to mess them up somehow. Thanks

I took them apart complety. Just take the a-arms in with just the sleeves when you get them back lube everything up real good and reinstall. They come lubed already but it's not a whole lot on there. You don't want those anoying sqeeks to develop especially on the front a-arms, cause as you already know they are a bit ch to get off.

Hey there John. I have a set waiting to go into my Iroc too. I understand that, yes, you do have to take the sleeve out of the bushing, lube it up, and stick it back in. Also, here's a trick I was told. Put the bushing in the freezer for a day b4 you install it into the shell. It will shrink a bit and go in easier and so will the sleeve. Also, which shop is putting your shells in ?
Let me know if you need a hand with the install and rebuild. I'm off until Monday night and would love to practice on another car before I do my own...that way we break YOUR stuff

you can try the freezer trick if you like but there is really no need to. As long as you lube them up good they will slide right in.
