Competition Engineering Subframes???

Any of you out there have these subframe connectors? The instructions that come with them are not that detailed. I was wondering if any of you have a picture of your subframes I could look at to ease my installation. Or a description of the process you had to go through to get them in. I'd appreciate it greatly.

I would send them back. I got a set and they aren't very nice. I didn't like them, so I cut the brackets off and used the tubing to make some custom subframe connectors. They wouldn't fit stock exhaust and floor pan mods were required.

What kind of floor pan mods did you have to do? I'd really like to know. I bought them third party so I can't return them. I picked them up real cheap none the less, so I figure I'll just use'em anyway. Since you have experience installing them I'd appreciate the assist...

I'm fairly certain my SFC are CE. Mine are the bolt in type (I know, I know). They are relatively puny compared to the ones I see advertised by the board sponsors. Installation was pretty straight forward. They bolt to the front of the rear control arm and have backing brackets that go up into holes in the framework. Then you drill holes through the floor and bolt 'em up with big washers on top.
If these are the kind you have, I'd have to say don't bother putting them on. Mine were free from my dad, so I don't feel that bad... Get a nice beefy set and weld them in.
CE also makes weld in ones and say they won't work with stock exhaust. I imagine these are the ones 82camaro is talking about.

Yep, mine were weld in. I didn't have to do any floor pan mods, because I custom made them with the included tubing.

82... you don't happen to have a picture of them installed do you? I'd really like to see them install to get a better view of what your talking about.
