IROC springs lower than Z28 springs?

I was reading in the tech data of this site and it said that the IROC suspension was .5 inches lower than a normal Z28 suspension. Is this because of the springs, or just because of the lower profile tire? Reason i ask is because my car seems to be sitting a little high in the front and i want to lower just the front, but don't want to do anything to drastically offset the front to rear rake. Can anyone confirm this? I'm about to buy a set of IROC springs and wanted to make sure before i did so.

I cannot answer your question, but maybe your front seems high because your rear springs are sagging??

possibly, but being that i am extramely low on money, and i can get a set of front IROC springs for 20 bucks, and also being that i like the height the rear is at now, just not the front, i think this might be a good alternative.

If it turns out to not be true about the IROC springs, i'm gonna swap in some v6 springs, that'll make it squat pretty well in front, and should help weight transfer a bit. I don't care TOO much about the loss in handling that will come with it, as long as it's not rediculously bad

anybody know for sure about the IROC springs or have comments on the V6 springs?

upon further investigation it appears that Z28 springs and IROC springs were indeed the same. Owell, i can still go for the V6 springs.

thoughts?
