aluminum rear drums grinding when am cruising along
and the grinding noises stop when brakes are applied,
i replaced the front pads today and took care of them,
now to the rears,
i tried getting the damn drums off but they are super glued to the shafts,
so how am i gonna get them off so i can replace shoes or adjust them out ?
thanks for anything

use a decent sized hammer(preferably a rubber mallet because of aluminum), and whack the drum. Be careful not to hit the wheel studs. Your problem may also be a groove worn into outermost edge of the drum. in that case, you'll have to back off the adjusters. If that's the case, it'll be a lot more to explain, and a lot easier for someone to show you.
