Idea for stiffer front end...

I have a v6 yah i know.....
but anyways... i got droppped spindels on the front of my car, but the stock springs are still in there...i want stiffer springs...
my idea is maybe i could take the springs off of a v8 or something and cut them down to compensate for the v6 so i can stay at the ride height that it is now....

would this work???

Firebird 90. did using the cut spring stiffen up the suspension?
and did it lower it more or keep it about the same??

also i noticed you have the WS6 36-24mm sway bars.. where those hard to find,
anlo what should i look for when i'm at a junk yard...
