Energy Suspension's website lists 2" and 2 3/8", no 2 1/4" listed. If you have to have it 2 1/4", get the 2 3/8" and lop you off 1/8" with a hacksaw.

Contact Bob at Guldstrand for the poly end link kit.
These folks know about the F-Body, especially the 3rd Gen.
I just picked mine up at their shop while on travel in Calif. Price is right, too.
Tell him Mike from Maryland says hello.

I simply went to my local NAPA shop and they gave me a polyurethane set that fit perfectly. No problem, no issue...
Check napaonline.com to see what part they will try to give you. I can't imagine this being a rare part.

I ordered them from Jegs...Requested the 2 1/4" (twice) and they sent me the 2 5/8"...I guess atleast they can be cut down, but I think when I do, the bolt will have to be replaced with a shorter one because the threads are on the end of the bolt, not the whole length.

Just now dropped my front Sway Bar (87 SC). The Links do measure 2 1/4" and I have on the bench ES 2 5/8", from JEGS.
I'm re-installing a 32mm Z28 Bar and am inclined to just go ahead and use the 2 5/8" Link (only 3/8" longer) w/o cutting it.
Is this a mistake?

Can't say for sure, but probably. It would definitely throw off the geometry of the sway bar, but I'm not sure if it'd really matter. You figure the endlinks are there to lift and pull on the ends of the sway bar. This, in turn, creates a twist in the center section of the bar (where it's mounted to the frame). I don't really see how that twist would be affected by using slightly longer or shorter end links, but personally, I think I'll just keep it same as factory--changing them shouldn't improve performance. Maybe it'd just wear the end link bushings faster?????
Most good people who set up road race cars will tell you your rear sway bar ends should be parallel to the ground. To answer the next qestion they where not when stock. On a street car I do not believe you will see a difference. If it was a Bush car you would be in the wall.

Should anyone be interested in a 1LE hollow 36 mm front sway, please see my ad in the classifieds.
