Holley TBI wiring woes

I'm putting the Holley 670cfm unit w/ portmatched Edelbrock manifold on my truck, & I noticed that the Holley unit has a connector that has 4 black wires going to the injectors while the stock unit does not have the same connector & the wires are color-coded from the wiring harness to the injectors, has anyone dealt with this problem before, me & my buddy are going to splice in new connectors if their isn't an easier way. But if their is please tell me

Thanks,

>>>Splice them in. Color for Color.<<<

Thats what we are planning to do but the Holley wires are all black & not color-coded so it makes it a bit harder

You didn't get a connector with pre-stripped wiring?

Snowdog, did you cut the Holley connector off & splice in the wires from the stock wiring harness? I'm thinking of taking a 4- pin trailer wiring harness, splicing one connector to the Holley TBI & the other side spliced into the truck's wiring harness, & connecting it that way so its easier & less of a hassle when I have to take the intake off in the future. The only problem is splicing it all together correctly so as noty to cross wire it, but I'll just have to be real careful.

Thanks,

Mine already had a connector...
It was very simple to do. Since you don't have one, fabricating one or finding one that fits shouldn't be too hard. Just be sure you get the right kind of connector.
Essentially, yes, it is the same kind of hookup. You have the pigtail after the connector and splice there.

Did you hook it up yet?

I haven't hooked it up yet, I'm getting a cam & doing the cam swap, as well as the Holley TBI & Edelbrock manifold at the same time so I don't have to buy gaskets twice..... I'll be getting Trick Flow heads down the raod.
