Cleaning up engine bay
Ok... I spent the weekend cleaning up the engien bay. I have almost go the pass. side valve cover cleared. I removed smog valve, and re-routed the heater valve to the pass. side fender. I do have a queestion about the pipe that runs behind the engine which fed air to the exhaust manifolds. Is there any way to get that out of there, or am I pretty much stuck with that until the engine is pulled or something? I know I have to get under the car and take out the bell housing bolts to remove it I think. If it comes to that, I think I'm going to leave it in there until I possibly drop the tranny again, or else take out the engine.

that pipe ur trying to get out... i think ur talking about the air injection to the catylytic converter. to get it out u have to get a bolt on the back of that cylinder head out. theres a ground wire connected to it which u gotta take out also. just make sure u reconnect it. on the cat, the pipe should be welded on so ur gonna have to cut that off. if u need to take emissions soon, make sure u can connect everything back the way it was. i dunno what u can use to plug up the hole on the cat then but plug it somehow. gopt any questions email me
