Edlebrock manifold air flow gain?

Is the stock manifold on the 305 tbi its weakness or the throttle body itself or a cobination of both? How much more cfm does the Eldebrock have over stock and could this relate to at least a 10 hp gain?

teh stock intake is of reasonable runner design, what it really lacks is any sign of total volume to support power efficiantly past 4000rpm. the edelbrock has a greater plenum volume so it supports power past 5200rpm. i am not sure of the exact flow numbers, but if you just look at the two of them you will see the much larger area directly under the throttle body that the edelbrock has.
the tb is not a real major restriction in the prcess, especially once the ultimate mods have been applied.

the heads, exaust, lame gearing, and cam are the main reason for slow as 305 TBIs. Tim changed all those(sans the cam) and kept the stock TBI and Edelbrock TBI intake and went 14.2

With a larger cam, something like 20X/21X @.05" , I would not be surprised if it would shave a full second off.
