No Start Problem Back -- Driving Me Crazy!

I get into my car (91 LO3) to come home from school today and it won't start. Try and try and it just will not turn over. Make a phone call, no answer naturally, so I try it again and it starts up. The computer was throwing a code 54 last week. I changed both the fuel pump relay and the oil pressure switch a few days ago and today is the first time it does this again. From what I can tell it doesn't seem to be the injectors. When the car does start the pattern looks pretty good and the car runs strong. I hope it's not an electrical short somewhere. My blower motors sometimes works on vent and always on A/C (if I put it back to vent it will work as well). I'm just so sick of this little problem. Any ideas?

Just changed the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. Ignition module was changed less than a year ago as well, but I do have a spare I can try. I'm still pretty sure it's a fuel problem. The no start condition seems to be that the injectors supply no fuel. Looks like I'll have to dive into the electrical system and see if I can find a short somewhere.

It sounds like you have a starter circuit or starter problem, if it won't crank. The ignition and fuel pump circuits have nothing to do with the engine cranking over. G.M. starters are famous for developing a heat soak condition. If you shut off a warmed up engine, and the starter soaks up enough heat, it won't start until it cools off. This is a common indication that the starter is failing. If the engine is not hot when this problem occurs, I would put the car up on jack stands and look for a loose electrical connection. In my experience, I had a lot of problems with the main electrical connection where the pos. cable was mounted to the starter. It seemed that the nut liked to loosen up. I finally replaced the "spring lock" type washer with a "star" type lock washer to make and keep a tight connection.

Ah, sorry for the poor choice of words on my part. When I said turn over I meant start. I realize they are two different things. The starter works just fine. The engine will not start because of no fuel as far as I can tell.
