Some more on the Holley 670 TBI
Some more on the Holley 670 TBI
Alright I read JPrevost's article & even e-mailed him on making an AFPR on the Holley TBI unit I know he is one of the many TBI gods around here but maybe its just me & I can't follow directions but I'm having problems making it.... But wouldn't it be easier to just drill out the screw in the cap of the FPR & then get a bolt to go in its place that would go in its place like the aftermarket AFPR's from Turbo City, & others or am I just a dumb*** white boy & can't figure this out? One annoying thing I noticed is that w/ a 3" tall open element filter you have to get a shorter air cleaner bolt because the stock is too long...not a biggie just a little b****.

....... all it takes is for you to take off the cap on top of the fpr and take a allan key and turn it clock or counter clockwise to change it.... i did not have any problems ajusting the fp and found it VERY easy to do, and there is not really any fpr to make on a holley it is already there, all you gota do is to take off the stamped metal cap on top.
Agreed
Yes, all you need to do is remove the cap from the FPR and you can use an allen wrench to adjust it.
Get a small drill bit and drill through the cap, but don't go any further than the depth of the cap itself.
Once you get the hole drilled, just use a nail, or finishing nail, and pull out the unecessary cap.
You will have an allen bolt underneath it, and all you need is an allen wrench to adjust it.
I was befuddled by it myself.
(When I first installed the Holley unit, I could not find the FPR anywhere, and everyone was telling me where it was, and I finally got to it.)
It's really simple to do.

Alright Guys thanks a lot I'll take that little cap out tommorrow. I saw the screw there & thought that's what you had to adjust, then I got confused at what I was being told...very visual learner... I got it now.
Thanks again,

im thinking about getting the holley TBI for the motor im getting. Im still not sure yet chips are going to be a pain in the ***. i dont have a laptop or anything so i dont know how i would make chips or read out all that crap. maybe somebody here could help me out or something
Supposedly the stock fpr have a vac port under the diaphragm, it is supposed to be adjustable to 3 psi more under load. Anyone noticed a small hole in there? How does the hollet TBI work? Happy with it?

The Holley TBI works great. Just don't miss match your injectors. My LO3 is completely stock on the inside, and I needed to turn my fp as low as it would go with 57 lb/hr injectors. If I ever get this LT1 cam and intake installed, I'm pretty sure I'll just have to bump the pressure up a bit, and keep the injectors. As far as the little hole being there-yes it is. If it's a vac port, then it would be great if someone could let us in on how to hook it up.....hint, hint, cough, cough........
