My previous best time was 16.182 @ 83.4, which was last year.
Since then I've only added and MSD coil, which Im sure did nothing.
But I the ultimate tbi mods (minus the AFPR) and advanced my timing 7*. The weather was nearly identical and tonight I just pulled a 15.823 @ 85.84 mph. Thats nearly half a second for free!

Glad to see you've got some good results, now just replace that MSD coil with the stock imbetween a run and tell us if it does anything
.You still need to do some more work and get that into the low 15's! Hopefully early summer we should have a combo for solid high 14's with a very tight budget.
It's all about tuning and doing the little stuff that adds up.

If you dont want to hear me bitch, dont read this
Honestly we didnt do a good job on the grinding part, there's still a lot of material I can take out of the TBI. I could prolly get a little more out of it with some more fuel pressure, too, and a better 60' (2.243), it would be nice to try a set of drag radials, but all my friends that have extra tires are mustang guys.
Im gonna try to get my 3.42 posi rear in this week and hopefully be back at the track next wed. If I can get the 60' down to around 2.1, 2.05 I'd really be haulin'.
