Well, may be 317hp on Desktop but join the club on what to do about fuel delivery above 230hp. There's several paths and they're all here for the reading.

Hey, why is it that only Grumpy and myself have actual 1/4 mile times with our 350+ci TBI motors and nobody else does?
Get with the program people!!! We need/want more people to have fun with their cars, do it legal, go to the strip and see what you can do.

Easy.

LOL Jon, it's easy. I'd love to run at the track, but running with a 2.73 open rear will probably put me in the 16 range. Yuck.

Edit: Besides that, my rear end is starting to protest, and I am due for a new rear end soon.

I do agree but you can't ignore that they were probably mis-matched cars. Too much power and not enough traction or just not a good platform for the 1/4 mile (like the gearing).
It's funny but if you look at some of the L98 guys posts and then at some of the LB9 with a few bolt on's it's sometimes too close to tell the difference. Seems like the T5 hardtop 305 TPI's had enough ***** to keep up with a 350 TPI auto t-top or convert.
Definatly learn to program your own eproms because there is still something wrong with having a 350 still in the 15's. We've got a basically stock 91 LO3 that's got headers, gears/posi, performer TBI intake, open elmnt and ultimate TBI mods that is going to see high 14's soon enough. A little tuning and I can see it being a stable high 14 second car. I do believe he (Randy) is getting a higher stall tc also and he's finally got some boxed LCA's and panhard bar.
Man I wish I could knock out all of Penn and bring Ohio next to NJ!!! Sucks being in school until June 14th

I have a 300HP crate motor with TBI, 5 Speed trans and 3.73 geared posi rear.
No ET yet, due to the fact that currently, the closest drag strip is two hours away, and I'm sure I'll scatter my T5 trans soon.
Can't afford a 130 mile tow bill, if it does.
I can tell you, however, that it's easily beaten a couple 97 and 98 Cobras on the street.

Stock intake and TBI

dude, ditch that Stock TB and get a 454 TBI. And get the Performer RPM intake. Also The 1 5/8" headers are holing you back some. Pull the heads when you change the intake and Port match them to the intake and maybe a little pocket port too. You prolly know someone who can do that stuff easy. The 2.5" y pipe you got prolly aint helping much either. Get that chip tuned up and you'll prolly be in the 14's easy.

Oh, dont' forget to get some good suspension parts too. LCA, and a panhard rod would help a lot.
