chips?!?!?! I'm going NUTS!!!
I've heard some crazy stuff lately....Take the chip out of a '90 Caprice wagon.....It makes the computer think the car weighs a millionpounds and has the ***** t run a .040 over 350 w/ a mild cam!!!Am I NUTS or is this
???? What do you guys think? I'm on a major budget!!!(just broke my figgin' radiator!!!!) Hopefully this is true.......five finger discount from the local boneyard.....what about injectors? I've been told the 305 one will work fine....PLASE I'M GOING NUTS!!!

Dont worrt about chips just yet.
Put a gear swap under your belt, and some engine modifications before you tackle a chip.
Im not too sure, but you cant really see any gain over the stock chip while the engine is still mostly stock.

a couple things - one - from what i've heard, a chip will make a huge difference if done correctly (read: not from Hypertech or some generic company - but diy or by a trusted friend). Two - .040 is a lot to punch a 350 out for performance...why not just go .030 over? Just wonderin' - i've seen them go .060 over, but that's craaaaaaaaazyness.

.040 over isn't large..as was stated it only cuts down on the chance of going .060 over later on...that's okhough cause this motor is just to get me until i can afford the full out resto-mod.....cage,t-56,lingigfelter 427 TT LS-1, 9-inch, etc. Any way i just want the chip to handle the motor and not blow it up before i can afford the chip custom burned. The kick of it is can the caprice chip run my mild small block???It better cause the motor is just waiting for the front suspension to be fixed and then it gets dropped in....read next week....any wayi's someting to pick at your brains.
