350 tbi out of van for camaro

I have got a donor engine out of a 90 van, 350 tbi. Anybody know the hp rating, I figure its probably not any more that the camaro. Anyway I got the whole van with 80,000 miles dirt cheap and it runs great.

How about a Carbed 350/.030 over in an 86 Suburban? How much Hp is that putting out??

What if I ....

Put an LT1 cam, heads, headers, and an intake on this motor, then put back on my L03's TBI unit (with 95 Suburban's Injectors). And have a custom chip burned.

Any guesses as to how many HP this could put out?

Mine came out of a 92tbi suburban, see sig. Mind you standard bore, and very mild cam.

nice, nice ... rsc350, how does your new motor feel? Have you beaten any Rustangs with it yet? Any idea how many HP's you're putting out, or guesses as to what you'll run?

KZad- yeah I got one rustang so far, it was a modified 5.0, I love it this motor in this car, it feels great, once i get an intake and an exhaust system and a few other mods, i am thinkin low 14's, if my speedo worked i could better judge that but unfortunately it says im standin still all the time.

Remember the numbers given are factory ratings and upgrades can substantially change those numbers. No TBI was ever rated at 255HP, thats the 96 up Vortec 350's. Like my 92 with headers, manifold, exhaust ignition, filter, chip and AFPR, has no trouble keeping up with Vortec 350 trucks and it still has the small factory cam and crappy heads. Small upgrades can make these LO5's run, a cam in mine would have helped, but I ran out of money, at any rate, HP and torque is what you make it, the factory ratings are only a guideline, not a life standard.
