What is the biggest tbi spacer I can put under my tbi? I want everything to clear and hook up as it does stock? Any recommended materials? I have a 2.5" cowl hood, so I have the clearance. Will I notice any performance increase? Thanks in advance.

 

How big of a spacer depends alot on your own personal setup. A flat base open element filter almost touches a stock hood, so I would say if your cowl induction is 2.5 inches it would make sense you could run up to a 2.5 inch spacer. The only problem you would run into is: Will the fuel lines reach/clear the TB? And will the throttle/tranny cables reach or will you have to do some fabrication to get it to install correctly?

I think I heard somewhere that you get better throttle response but not alot as far as e.t.'s go...
