S/R Torquers/Compression Ratio?
I'm planning on doing my cam swap in about two weeks and I recently came into some money so i'm going to do a 350 tbi intake ported with s/r torquer heads ported, and ported and polished on the exhaust side of the heads. My question is if I milled the heads down to increase the compression ratio would that work out well on a 305TBI?
Yeah you can use different head gaskets to raise the compression ratio and it is like milling the head. 9.3:1 ratio to me seems like the right ratio to run on the street because you can run like 8* advance and 87 octane without detonation.

Its got a .015 compressed thickness which will add to your compression. I had my vortecs (62cc stock) milled .020 and am running the 1094s. We put some "high tack" coating on them. No problem at all with sealing after 540 miles. I made a post about them a while back and poeple seemed to have good luck with them so I figured Id give it a try
