"Should not be too much of a challenge. Thing is, most guys do not know
what to put in a TBI engine, and are disappointed with the power they
make. Dyno tuning is always the best way to do it. We do a lot of Dallas
area vehicles. You also have to realize, it will make more power and be
faster with a 4bl carb, than a 2bl TBI. The cost would be $500.00 to dyno
tune it. If you decide to do it, you can call John, here @ 918-446-3019
for an appointment. Last I heard we were booked into early November for
dyno work."
I emailed fastchip about some custom tuning questions and asked if they could dyno tune my car and this is the response I got. It brings up some interesting issues especially about people not knowing what to put in TBI's and about a 4 bl carb being faster than the 2 bl TBI. What do you guys think?

Ed Wright at Fastchip burned the custom chip for my 300HP tbi motor. He knows what he's talking about. I've been very satisfied with the chip he burned for me, though I know it could be better with the ability to actually tune it on the dyno. That really is the best way to do it.
He told me the cam I'm using is great for tbi and thought it should be a good combination.People are shocked when they find out my car is not carbed or tpi, especially after blowing their doors off.
You can certainly make more power with a carb or tpi, but where I live (CA), a carb is not a legal option and tpi is a lot more expensive. The reliability of the tbi fuel injection is another good reason to run it, especially if your car is a daily driver (mine is).
If I lived close enough for Fastchip to dyno tune my car, I would certainly do it. If you don't burn your own chips, I believe this is the best alternative.
