Edlebrock PerformerT Intake

Hi. http://www.carparts.com/parts/newsea...utoidsearch=NO

Is that the direct bolt on one I need to replace the GM TBI intake on my 92 RS? It says use the stock TBI injectors. Will I gain what? 5-10hp with this mod? Trying to do as many little things as I can. So many different intakes to pick from, I hope this is it. Also getting a flowmaster 40 series delta flow with dual outlets to replace my ravin muffler from midas. I hope the 40 series is much louder...

thats the right intake, but that price is an absolute rip off. jegs and summit sell it for around 215 and you can usually find them used for 125.
it is a nice gain and a direct bolt on. you will get even more out of it if you gasket match the ports before installation.

later

I've been happy with mine.
Everything bolts right up, though the fuel lines may need
a little tweeking around the rear of the throttle body.
Also, if you have a/c you'll need to drill & tap the intake
at the front boss for the compressor support (if you want
to keep that on there).

Its a direct bolt on and theres a pretty good SOTP difference at higher RPMs. The fuel lines will have to be bent just alittle bit but it isnt to bad. Also it messed with my throttle cable and TV cable. I guess because the manifold sits the TBI further back...with it my TV cable wouldnt adjust right so i made a spacer to shorten the TV cable...so far it works fine. Also with this manifold my cruise cable would just fall off so i completely took it out. No AC either so i didnt have to tap any holes.

You machanic probably knows how to give you the shaft for installation to. Seriously its really easy I would never pay someone to swap an intake for me.

My step dad and him are good friends.. Installed a new radiator for me for parts only cost. He won't screw me. Balances my tires for free also.. Can't complain about that.

If you buy that intake from www.carparts.com Then i hope it comes with a free tube of ky jelly so it wont hurt so much when they give you the shaft. listen to tim and get one from ebay or jegs or summit. It's a lot cheaper
