Would this be a good chip to get for the time being before I get a new engine in a few years. I am running stock LO3 with stock chip. Check out my sig. I figure it would be a good low cost mod just to play around with before I get serious on the new motor.

 

it is a waste.
over teh counter chips are weak and built on compromise. use your fuel pressure and base timing to make adjustments and look around your are for soemoen who can data log and burn you a custom chip.

I think it's highly dependent on your mod combo. For my combo it has worked excellent. Not the best gas mileage, around 26 highway and 19 city, but I got great power. This was in Wisconsin, where the altitude is almost at sea level. Here in AZ the chip runs too rich, so I took it out and put the stock one back in. I'd be willing to sell it if your interested. Many people say it doesn't do anything though, so I'd research it more.
