tbi spacer???
i was wondering if the tbi spacer will be worth it if i make it myself??? i saw on here that some people liked it and some people did not... the ones on summit claim more torque and better gas milage if you use them so are they good or not?? i need to knopw b4 i go buy the polyurethane to make it with??
Some people say they are a waste and some seem to like the results.
I have a 95 TBI 350 truck and installed one from CFM technologies.
Did the truck pin me back in my seat when i mashed the gas? No
Did i feel a noticable difference? Yes
Was it worth what i paid? No
The money would have been better spent toward a cat back system.
If you can make one fairly accurately for cheap, then go for it.

why is it that carb spacers supposedly help alot but a TBI spacer wont...doesnt make any sense its the same principle. I think TBIs major drawback is the lack of air flow it gets in stock form.

Carb spacer = large volume increase and minor air friction caused.
TBI spacer = mid to small volume increase with medium friction from the air passing through the small bores.
