i have a 1996 350 motor laying around with vortec heads would all my sensors work from my old, 305 and woudl it line up with the trans.???? what kind of water pump would i need????
and can i put a lt4 cam hot cam in that????

Doesn't the stock Vortec heads have a lift limitation of .480" and the hot cam is .525" which is going to bend and break stuff. Also you should use the 350 knock sensor and ESC module to help eliminate some possible problems.

Not only that, the springs wont handle much over .420" lift. And you'll need the Scoggin Dickey Vortec TBI intake manifold.
Or you can sell those heads to someone else, and use some other 350 heads.
