DO I need a Timing chain for a roller cam if I'm not using one...

I'm pretty sure I don't. Just want to make sure there isn't more to it then the cam.... I'm using a non-roller cam, so a non-roller timing chain should be fine, right?

you use the chain that matches the type of cam you are doing. so you woudl need a non-roller chain.
