WinALDL question

Can I use WinALDL to adjust my TPS? It's currently reading -2% when it should be at zero. I know WinALDL monitors it as that is where I got the info from, and there is a tech article on how to adjust the TPS on this page. But my labtop took a crap, and I'll have to use a friends. So I was just wondering before I went and bugged him for his computer, or will I have to use a VOM? Thank you in advance.

Just to clearify, can I use the data that shows up on WinALDL to adjust the TPS? Or does the engine need to be running for readings to appear?

Winaldl shows you voltage. Just use the voltage to make sure your TPS is in range, if it is, just configure winaldl to show your TPS voltage at 0% and the WOT voltage can be input into configuring for 100%. It's not a big deal so I wouldn't bother if you're only at -2%, that's nothing, just check you're getting enough volts with your foot on the floor.
