Nitrous With 350 Tbi
Hey fellas - i was lookin' in my summit today and came across a cheater system from NOS (I guess?) that bolts onto the stud for your open-element air cleaer. I've been thinking about a nitrous system for TBI and this seems like it'd be the money shot for any of us whom are using 2 inch TBI bores. Any input?
Ty
PS - do all nitrous systems require 'injectors' for fuel in addition to the nitrous? I get the impression that you need an additional fuel line.

That's one way to do it. I think NOS (and other's?) make a TBI plate system. I'm not sure if the plate has 2" bores tho.
Not all N20 systems have a fuel solenoid. Systems that have a N20 solenoid only are called dry. Systems with both fuel and N20 are called wet. Personally I think a dry N20 system sounds like the worst idea ever.
You will need another fuel source for the fuel solenoid. On TPI they use the pressure test fitting as a source. TBI has no feul pressure test fitting so I guess they have you tee the supply line somewhere.

NOS makes systems for small block and big block tbi apoplications. since you are looking for the 2inch bores you are gonna wanna look on holley's web site ( www.holley.com ) for the 454tbi(LO7) tbi plate system. summit and jegs can both gfet it for ya.

Interesting - so basically I'd want to look for a 'wet' plate system then? It'd probably fit nicely since i'm already running 1/2 an inch of spacer...
At the risk of being vague, how tough is it to hook up a naaaws system? (haha, i had to do it guys
) With a wet system would i need a new fuel-line setup or what? How's it go?
Thanks guys

it is a very easy install. it is advised that you step up to a high flow fuel pump, just to be on the safe side.
install of both can be doen in a day with good help, over a weekend if you are limited on help or tools.
