I have all stock 305tbi. If the car has been sitting for an extended period of time especially in the morning the car runs horribly. It will stall unless i keep my foot on the gas for a couple of minutes. After it heats up it runs alright. Any advice as to what to check to correct this. All input is much appreciated.

 

my car does the exact opposite, if its hot, 200 degrees, and i shut the car off, and crank it again, itll run like pure crap for 5-10 seconds, i have to keep the engine reved to 2k until it works out its issues. ive replaced about 300 dollars worth of random parts trying to solve this problem, no help, so whatever is wrong with your car, is about whats wrong with mine, cept on the other end. so if you ever figure out whats wrong, let me know, cause i will replace whatever thats connected to your broke part and maybe itll work right lol

in any event, start by checking your injectors *maybe why mine is being retarded* or your fuele pump isnt building enough pressure until it runs for awhile. does the car smoke during this warm up process?
