Ok I just want to thank every1 who looks and gives me a little help on this matter, because I know there are "X" amount of threads dealing with the subject at hand.... First off I have a L98 Camshaft coming to me that i picked up for 25.00, I know your all going to ask why didnt I get the lt1 camshaft... Well I dunno LoL.. I guess I just picked up what came along first... Am I going to have a problem running this cam in my 89 LO3? Also I am plaining on picking up a Edelbrock TBI intake because its a direct replacement. I would get a carb intake, but I dont think I have the skills to do what it would take for it to work. Also I am buying a set a 305 heads 87+ style with 3angle valve job ported polished hardend keepers etc for 300$... So i dont think thats to bad. Headers I have sitting in my basement they are the Edelbrock TES headers for the TPI engine I got them because they were coated and I wouldnt have to worry about rusting. So am I good so far on this combo? Im also going to be doing the Ultimate Mods while I have everything apart.. So how does this sound, comments, advice, all helpful replys would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds good to me. There isnt much difference between the L98 and the LT1 cam, I doubt you'd notice much of a difference in the two. The only thing Id do different is keep my eye out for a good set of used SR Torquer heads. Ive seen them go for $350 used and I think they'd be a better head than even the ported 305 head. Although the ported non LO3 head is probably leaps and bounds over the stock head.
LoL.. Well its really a ported L98 head. But i hope its a nice change with this setup... After this im gonna look for a Risky Business car, lol the sweet german enginering
