tbi question

ok guy this is the problem i have a 92 tbi camaro that a rich smell comes from the engine bay after the car has been driven, is it cked for leaks and nothing. The car only has 65k on it but sat for awhile inbetween the prefious owner ane the person he bought it off of. my question is is it pisable that the tbi needs a good cleaning or might it be a o2 senser? car run great just the rich smell is driving me nuts. thought it might be the gas tank cap but didnt help. any help would be appric iated. thanks sean

Check for leaks again. It could be from the fuel fittings that feed the TBI. The gas could be dripping onto the manifold and burning off very quickly. Check the other connectors as well, i.e., where the fuel line switches from metal to rubber and to metal again.
Check the actual injectors as well. I know I had a problem with injector spray bouncing off the throttle blades and finding it way outside the tbi and into the air cleaner.
