open elemtent question
im planning on putting a typical drop base, edelbrock, open element on my 89 rs 305 tbi (from kragen auto parts) and im not sure if it will fit correctly or if i would have to order a specific one. also they (edelbrock) have TBI lids for their o.e. filters and im not sure if i would need one of those or if they lid it comes with would work. i have not bought my SS hood yet so i still have stock underhood clearance. i have read the "how to" for installing these and it looks like it'll work but im just checking before i go buy one. thanks

Better to have a flatbottom air cleaner, than a drop base.
I'm using Moroso #65911, $47.99 from Summit.
No spacer required, clears the stock hood.
