91 305HO cam specs anyone???
I just picked up this cam today along with the roller lifters for a good price(free) and am thinking about sliding her into my 89 lo5 truck motor. The cam came out of a 91 HO 305 TBI 5 spd car. The only numbers that I can find are on the cam are the following
17 155 CPC BC
These numbers were stamped onto the cam between the journals. The motor appeared to be in original condition so it is either factory or a crate replacement. If anyone can help me out on the numbers I would graetly appreciate it. Search has found me nothing so far. Thanks for the help.

Small i do know. With 3.42s I can run down the road in 4th gear (5 spd) at 26 MPH!!! I want more and I am hoping that the 305 cam aint a step in the wrong direction. The way I got the cam and lifters for free is by buying and selling an engine with the understanding that I would give the guy my cam and lifters. The main thing is that I wanted the roller lifter setup. I just want the setup to work till I rebuild the moter in approx 6 months without killing my power. By that point I am hoping to be into PROM burning as I have a LO5 89 truck and an L98 firebird. In actuallity I am thinking on swapping my LO5 over to TPI when I rebuild the motor as I have a Complete TPI setup in the corner but I havent figured out all the issues with 747 ecm and wiring harness that are stock in the truck. Thanks guys..

Car: 91 Camaro RS Convertible
Engine: 385ci LT1 cnc ported heads big cam
Transmission: 4L60E automatic
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Zexel posi 7.5" rear
The L03 TBI cam and the 89 L05 truck cam have similar specs just the car engine is roller cam and the truck will be flat tappet. Both cams are worthless and should be tossed. L98 cams aren't too bad but with LT1 cams available for $50 there is no point in using the other cams. The truck engine will have a flat tappet cam in it and the roller cam retainer brackets are not drilled and tapped on the pre 1990 engines.
