problems with "peppyness"

When I first got my car it was like the peppiest car i ever drove and i cant seem to figure out why its not peppy like it use to be. I have changed plugs and wires which have helped, but my car is still not as peppy as it used to be. Any suggestions of what it might be?? timing?

You're just getting used to the 'power'.

I used to have a similar problem, THe car was actually slower at WOT that at 3/4 throttle. I ran sea foam through it a couple times, injector cleaner, got a new fuel and air filter and that solved the problem. Have you timed the car before, I've had used cars before that didn't perform how they should, checked timing and it was at like 4 degrees, bumped it up a couple degrees above what it was suppost to be and it ran great!!

Good luck.

Sea foam cleans all the carbon out of the engine, cleans injectors, stabalizes fuel in the gas tank. I usually run it every few months, I always put it in the gas come storeage time. If you want to get any gunk out of your engine fast, remove the vaccum line from the master cylinder, dump Sea Foam in it while it's running, and shut her down, restart in an hour and yuo will probably see a ton of white smoke come out the exhaust, this is all the old carbon.

Stuff is a miracle, get it at any parts store, or gas station.
