another ZZ4 cam question

I'm considering using the ZZ4 cam in my 1/2 ton and I've noticed that they apparently work well on TBI camaros, but my truck spends a lot of time in the lugging range (1400-2000) and I was hoping someone could fill me in on how one of these cams might work at those rpms. The thing I'm ultimately hoping to accomplish is to increase the top end to about 5500, and increase the torque throughout without a significant loss of lugging power.

My engine is a 350 with K&N, flowmaster, short tube headers, ultimate TBI mods, auto.

Thanks
