what did u do about programing. i would like to put one in my truck but my truck is my only vehicle that is on the road so it would need to be in one week end. can it be sorted out with fuel pressure or dose it really need a chip if so where can i get a chip for it so that i can just due the swap plug in the chip and then drive it the 60 miles i need to to get the thing home with out killing it. the truck uses a 1227747 ecm will it work with the 350 ho

 

I'm no expert but what I did was use the stock computer and that was for a 305, not even the 350 like your 747. From there I just adjusted the base timing till it ran well enough to continue the break in of 20 minutes bouncing around from 2000 to 2400rpm no load. It'll run so long as you adjust the base timing, but don't even think about romping on it. Also try and run the least amount of base possible so when EGR kicks on you don't have any problems with detonation. Base should probably be around 10 or 12 degrees.
