If you used or know somebody thats used a TBI spacer any brand come in PLEASE

Okay im think about buying a TBI spacer i figure since ive got the tbi off to do the ultimate tbi mods i should just put the tbi spacer on at the same time but want to see results, so can you say what brand it was and what type of material its made out of and of course could you feel a difference with it before and after.

THANK YOU

i have the jegs one.....there wont be any SOTP difference

everybody sells them, they're all made out of metal, one's not really any better than another.... and then there's the ingenious DIYers out there :hail: :hail: :hail:

it's probably not a bad idea to just stick one on but dont expect anything noticeable from it

see if you can get one used off ebay so you dont end up spending 75 bucks like i did

im not saying any of them wont make ANY difference, im just saying you're not gonna take a 170hp car and suddenly be spinning tires into 4th gear

by itself? i didn't, others havent, you probably wont.......

but that's not to say it doesnt do anything. if you can find one relatively cheaply or make your own, it's not gonna hurt anything. remember, things work together. there's not many things that you can just bolt on and instantaneously feel the difference.

My 91 Silverado has the Helix power tower throttle body spacer on it. I don't know if it made a difference over stock though, being as it came on the truck when I bought it.

spacers are not worth a ton on a stock tbi car. they are supposed to help mileage a little bit. you may gain a few hp but not enough to jsutify the price. i woudl suggest saving teh money and putting it towards a posi and gears or some othe rpart that will maek a real difference.

Or you could always make your own and save some $$$. If I can make one then anyone can. Give it try before you spend $60-$80 on one. I have a pic of mine on my web page if want to see it.

Don't by Corian brands. They have 1" spacers and I had to modify my cable bracket in order for my cables to reach. Make sure its .5" high.
