VAFPR

Is there anybody out there using this on thier TB's?
IT seems like a great way to regulate fuel pressure using vaccume...
I'm just curious as to what setup and or possible troubles anybody has had with this, if any...

i put one in after the lt1 cam swap. i am not sure if it was the vafpr, the new cam, or the new intake manifold that did it, but i went from 16 mpg at best in the city to over 18 in the city. i had no problems with it and i think it might even have given me better gas milage.

I believe you could definatly have gotten better gas milage but guess what, I don't even need a vac RFPR. I do it all with the eprom, the way GM did it seems to work best. I was going to use my vac RFPR (homemade holley version) but it isn't needed. It isn't as accurate as having it completely computer controlled but it is a great tool for tuning if you haven't gotten into the diy-eprom grove.

I've been using my vAFPR for a couple days now. It's a nice piece from GM. I thought I was going to get just the FPR can and the spring...but it comes with the entire top piece of the FMU with the diaphram, completely assembled.

I would consider it a band-aid to DIY PROM, but if you were dangerously lean in the top end and too rich at idle, I could see it making things driveable.

I've been using it without the vacuum pull-off. 20 psi would be too much pressure with the stock chip...lucky for me it's not a stock chip
