i would get an egr manifold to keep it simple 4 u... but... instead of just getting a manifold and being very disappointed with the result of $150... i would save up for some heads/cam. Intake should come later. just my .02

but... also... go to summit's website or call them up. i dont know if i want an intake manifold from autozone... im not big on buying anything but oil/filters/light bulbs from there.

i was also thinking about roller rockers but then again i dont know what brand or size to get and after that how hard they are to install the intake manifold is an edelbrock performer for 87 and under sb chevy

Auto zone sells edelbrock intakes, but i dont think they have the ones for vortecs on hand they will have to order them. These are some good alternitives.

Did you or someone else put the vortec heads on your car? If in fact you do actually have vortec heads then you will have to get an external egr kit and have it plumbed into your exhuast system. The heads themself do not have the exhuast crossover ports as standard sb chevy heads do.
