TBI Spacer

Does anyone know if there is enough clearance for a tbi spacer from the oem hood? Also if a injector raiser kit actually makes more air flow?? My concept here is to provide enough air for my 355 and right now I dont think its happening. Any ideas? I thought about a holley 2 inch tbi but I would have to have the intake manifold which is a vortec machined to that size. Also if any type of ram air system could be made?? Thanks for the help.

Well - I know you can use a TBI spacer without changing the hood for one thing.

I just installed a 1/2" spacer on my 90 RS today and the only problem i had was getting the fuel lines back on the TBI. I am currently running a flat based14x3 open element with a flat air cleaner top (would have clearance problems with the old K&N top that comes to a peak in the middle). Going to the track on wednesday, so i will have some new times then.
