L98 Cam Swap...what springs to use

Guys...I am going to be doing my cam swap on my 89 L03 soon....I am tossing in a L98 Cam and want to hear what you guys suggest for springs to use when I do the swap....suggestions????

Also, I dont forsee myself swapping to something like 1.6 rockers or anything like that...but If I did do that down the road would that be something to consider when purchasing these new springs???

Thanks,

I would pick up some LT4 retainers and locks as well to get rid of the stock HEAVY exh. rotators and spalsh shields. You'll also need 16 .060" spring shims for the exhaust vavles to correct the spring height. Not sure if the Z-28 springs are the same as the LT4 ones, but they're probably cheap as well. I used some crane '848 springs I had lying around.

Good valve springs = $24-60
LT4 retainers and locks = $23 shipped from GMpartsdirect
16 .060" spring shims = $5.60

115,000 mile LO3 engine staying together after 6500+ rpm = priceless
